Spirit of Hope Class VII
Research shows that by simply changing lifestyle habits a cancer patient can positively benefit his/her quest for health. These habits include daily exercise, good nutrition, developing a supportive community, stress management, and spiritual growth. To encourage the growth of these good habits, Hope has created the Spirit of Hope classes in order to give women dealing with cancer the opportunity to evaluate present lifestyle habits and consider making helpful changes.
Using a wide range of professionals and specialists, each class will address a different valuable topic and offer tangible ideas for application. Each participant will also have the opportunity to build new relationships with other women on a similar journey.
Please note that in order to gain the full benefit of these classes it is important that participants attend all 9 sessions.
The fall session of Spirit of Hope begins in September and ends in November. The classes will be held from 4:30-6:30 on Mondays in the Hope lounge. Registration is required and spaces are limited, so please register soon. The winter session will begin in January. Please check the site again for more specific details.
The fee for participating in this class is $50 and scholarships are available. For additional information or a registration form, please call (828) 670-8403.
